The Navy Yard Administrative Building is a historic adaptive reuse and mixed-use redevelopment project in North Charleston, South Carolina transforming a 1906 neo-classical structure within the former Navy Shipyards district. Originally constructed to house Navy administrative offices, machine rooms, and storage facilities, the project restores and expands the historic building into 34,000 SF of office and retail space designed to support the continued revitalization of the Navy Yard waterfront district.

The project required balancing historic preservation with the demands of a contemporary mixed-use development. The design team needed to restore the character and architectural integrity of the abandoned neo-classical structure while integrating modern office, retail, and infrastructure requirements capable of supporting long-term economic activity within the evolving Navy Yard district.
