Youth Villages Admin
-
The Youth Villages Administration Building is a 17,000 SF institutional and administrative facility in Douglasville, Georgia designed as the first phase of a larger campus master plan. Serving staff, employees, students, and families, the project creates a centralized workplace and training environment while establishing a new front door for the campus through warm materiality, covered outdoor spaces, and strong visual connections to the surrounding wooded landscape.
-
The project required balancing the operational demands of a high-functioning administrative building with the need to create an approachable and welcoming arrival experience for students, families, and visitors. Positioned along a sloping wooded site, the architecture responds to the campus topography while reinforcing a sense of orientation, accessibility, and connection to future phases of development.
